Getting ready

So, I was inspired by an artist over on deviantart to start with a sketch a day, all in the spirit of getting more disciplined when it comes to drawing, as well as practice.
So from June 1, I'll start putting up the sketch of the day here. =D

Getting a head-start:

Eyes

Been practicing to draw a little. So I started looking at eyes. I still don't know how to draw eyelashes. Some of them are mine, others drawn from photos. The noses and lips at the bottom are drawn from looking in the mirror.

Labrador retrievers

Okay, so for my first post here, I've got some Labrador retriever faces... My grandfather asked me a while back if I could draw a comic or something about his dog who died a few years ago, and now I started thinking of what I could possibly do about that. Also, learning to draw a yellow lab helps, too. More sketches to come.
