A sketch a Day: Nectarine
So I'm trying to learn to paint digitally. I find it difficult beyond belief, and it took me two days worth of attempts to figure out a way to blend colors in a way that didn't look completely wrong. And this is what came out of it. =) A nectarine, which was eaten after I finished painting this. It was delicious.

Hee, after midnight again. I lost track of time.
I'm trying to come up with a new character in an attempt to get a story I have deep inside my brain to come out into the light. This is the first quick draft I made, and I kind of like him. More of him coming later.

This is the makeshift computer desk I use right now. I won't get the rest of my furniture until tomorrow.
No pic yesterday, I spent half the day getting my new cat home, and didn't get my internet connection up and running until really late last night.

A sketch a Day: My Hat
I've discovered the joys of crocheting, and I made myself a hat just like this one. I don't have a camera, so I can't take a picture of it. It's really big, but I think it fits me pretty well. I'll just have to wait for the weather to get less hot and humid to be able to wear it, but I'll probably wear it all autumn and the beginning of winter.

I'm moving to a new apartment now. Yay. I can't wait to have my stuff together so I can focus on drawing.
